EU Green lights Apple’s Purchase of Shazam

The European Union has approved Apple’s plan to purchase Shazam. After an antitrust investigation, the EU deemed that Apple acquiring Shazam would not hurt competition.

Apple announced it was purchasing Shazam in December, the purchase was stalled when the EU launched an anti-competitive investigation. There was a fear that through the Shazam purchase Apple would allow Apple Music to unfairly tilt the competition. Today in Microsoft history – Windows 98 released to the world

We did a throwback to Apple so why not give a nod to Microsoft too. Windows 98 released on the 25th June 1998 as a successor to Windows 95 and our?Today in Microsoft history – Windows 98 released to the world.

Windows 98 was a mix between 16-bit and 32-bit, the bootup was driven by an MS-DOS boot. A successor to Windows 95 was definitely needed as peripheral use became essential and Windows 95 was very limited, in fact, the first version of Windows 95 did not support USB (upgrading became fun).
